Baby steps, baby steps...
Baylor University won its first ever Big XII road game yesterday, 23-13 over Iowa State. I say again, first road win in the 10 year existence of the league. Other streaks they broke this year include a road losing streak with a win at SMU in early September and an out-of-state road losing streak broken the next week at Army. Baylor's record is now 4-1, with its only loss being an overtime loss at Texas A&M last week. Four wins are the most wins I've seen Baylor collect in a season since I became offiliated with the school in fall of 1997. Props to coach Guy Morris for beginning to turn around a long depressing program. Baylor still has a long way to go, but its nice to point to actual victories instead of moral victories when looking for signs of improvement in the program.
